Vivid, frenetic and captivating are words often used to describe Trevor 'Turbo' Browns style of painting, and it is with much pleasure that we present Turbo's latest exhibition, Dreamtime Animals. The exhibition features work depicting Australia's native animals and birds, important to Turbo as these were his friends as a homeless youth living in Mildura, on the banks of the Murray River.
The paintings are as bright and unique as the artist's history. Turbo has stated that when he paints he feels as if he is in the Dreamtime, and this shines through in his work where the animals almost seem to interact with the viewer.
